Map Key:

• The villages with “stars” are the locations that Wojciech Jach and/or Katarzyna Maliszewska lived.

Assumptions/Theories/Roadblocks:

• The Stężyca Parish baptismal records between the years of 1792-1805 are missing. The years between 1805-1819 have many missing and faded pages that make the records almost illegible.
• The following children were born in Klukowa Huta: Mateusz (@1810), Andrzej (@1814), Katarzyna (@1818).
• Wojciech and Katarzyna possibly had at least one more child.
• Wojciech Jach’s death record in 1823 listed 5 children, with Weronika dying in 1830. That left 4 adult children.
• Andrzej Jach died @1880-1881 in Polonia, Wisconsin.
• Jadwiga Kleinsmyt died as a child.
