The administrative map of Poland above, indicates the main areas that my ancestors originated from before settling in Wisconsin, USA. The main areas of research are outlined in grey boxes. The main research areas include the following Provinces: Pomorskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Wielkopolskie, Mazowieckie, and to a lesser degree Łódzkie.

I’ve added categories to each post that deal with various topics, including surname, parish, village, etc…..You can also access these categories by clicking the “categories” drop-down menu. This will provide a list of all posts that are associated with the selected category. See example below:

I have posted many translated birth, marriage, death, and civil records from the various regions of Poland. The records were translated/transcribed from Latin, German, Polish, and Russian languages depending on which country the particular area of Poland was occupying at the time. If you have questions related to any record listed on this site, please feel free to add a comment to the blog post.
