Szymon Jędrzejczak and Marianna Imanska Family – Research Summary Version 1

I would like to summarize the records that I’ve found so far, for the Szymon Jędrzejczak and Marianna Imańska family. All the records are from the  following municipalities: Gmina Janikowo, Gmina Inowrocław, Gmina Dobre, and Gmina Zakrzewo; all within Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province.

Assumptions/Theories:

• Szymon was born in a village near the Ludzisko Parish. There are a number of Jędrzejczak families in the Rzadkwin Parish, with a child named Szymon born in 1783. This would match with the age listed on the baptism of Stanisław Jędrzejczak. Need to investigate further.
• Marianna was born in Markowice – Ludzisko Parish. From the available online Ludzisko records, Imański families resided in Markowice. Need to investigate further.
• Szymon and Marianna married in the Ludzisko Parish. No marriage records are available for the Ludzisko Parish between 1808-1819. The couple most likely married between 1808-1812. Need to investigate further.
• After Szymon’s death, Marianna and her small children moved back to Gmina Inowrocław – Prussia to be closer to her siblings in Markowice. Need to investigate further and find Marianna’s death record.
  • Stanisław would move his family to the village of Dziewa – Pieranie Parish – Prussia
  • Pozńan Project lists the following marriages that line-up well with children of Szymon and Marianna:
    • Kazimierz Jędrzejeski – 1845, #9 – Góra Parish – He is listed as aged 24, the son of Szymon and Marianna. Birth @1821 – Need Record
    • Julianna Jędrzejczak – 1857, #15 – Sławsk Wielki – She is listed as aged 27, the daughter of Szymon and Marcianna. Birth @1830 – Need Record
    • Mateusz Jędrzejczak – 1858, #1 – Strzelno Parish – He is listed as aged 33, the son of Szymon and Marianna. Birth @1823 – His place of residence is listed as Markowice.
• The couple may have had children between the following years: 1823-1824, 1828-1830, and 1832-1834.

Research Leads/Plans:

• Search for B-M-D records for the remaining family members, including the families of Stanisław, Kazimierz, Julianna, and Mateusz.
• Search for the baptismal record of Marianna Imańska @1790 in the Ludzisko Parish.
• Search the Rzadkwin Parish for possible Jędrzejczak connections.
• Search the Pieranie, Ludzisko, Inowrocław, and/or surrounding Parishes for the marriage and/or death record of Marianna Jędrzejczak nee Imańska.
