Baptism of Jozefa and Julianna Jedrzejczak (1831)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józefa and Julianna Jędrzejczak, from the Krzywosądz parish.

Czołpin, No. 5, 1831

This occurred in the village of Krzywosądz, on the 20th of March, 1831, at 12 p.m. Szymon Jędrzejczak appeared, aged 48, a laborer residing in the village of Czołpin, in the presence of: Paweł Morawski, aged 60, a farm hand residing in the village of Czołpin, and Wojciech Rutkowski, aged 30, a farm owner residing in the village of Krzywosądz, and showed Us two female children born in the village of Czołpin, on the 19th of March, 1831, at 7 p.m., to his lawful wife Marianna Szczepańska (should it be Imańska?), aged 45. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, the first child was given the name of Józefa and the second child was named Julianna. The godparents of Józefa were: Paweł Morawski and Małgorzata Gadzalińska, from the village of Czołpin. The godparents of Julianna were: Wojciech Rutkowski, from the village of Krzywosądz and Franciszka Lewandowska, from the village of Czołpin. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
