St. Hyacinth Parish of Milwaukee, WI
Hello,
Last week I published a post about St. Stanislaus Parish, along with pictures that my brother and I took. Today, I’d like to post some of the pictures that we took of St. Hyacinth Parish.
In 1882, the Parish of St. Stanislaus decided that the amount of people belonging to its congregation was too vast. All parishioners who were located west of 5th avenue (today’s S.10th st.) would attend the newly formed parish of St. Hyacinths (Borun, Thaddeus, We, the Milwaukee Poles (Milwaukee: Nowiny Publishing Co. 1946)).
St. Hyacinth’s Parish is located on 1414 W. Becher St. Milwaukee, WI 53215-2704. More information regarding this parish can be found on the Milwaukee Archdiocese’s website: http://www.archmil.org/parishes/ShowParish.asp?ID=207
Best Regards,
Al
