Review: The People Nobody Knew: The Kashubs of Jones Island (DVD)

A couple weeks ago, I borrowed the DVD called The people nobody knew: The Kashubes of Jones Island from my local library. The DVD was created and produced by Urban Anthropology, INC. The DVD cover is below:

The DVD chronicles the history of the Kashubes who settled on Jones Island, which is along the shore of Lake Michigan on Milwaukee’s southside. The Kashubes who settled on Jones Island were originally from the northern region of Kaszubia (closer to the Baltic than my southern Kaszubian ancestors). The DVD was very interesting and I would recommend it any Kaszubian researcher. This DVD can be order from the Urban Anthopology, INC. website.
