Polish-American Heritage Month – Pulaski = U.S. Citizen

Kazimierz Pulaski was made an official U.S. citizen this month, coinciding with the commemoration of Polish-American Heritage Month. More info can be found at a highly recommended site for Polish-American news called the Polish American Journal Today.

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, there is a park named in his honor on the city’s east side near the Riverwest area. There is also a school named after Kazimierz Pulaski on Milwaukee’s Southside. Both areas were predominately Polish neighborhoods. In fact, I lived near the district border of the Pulaski High School and attended drivers education class there…
