Kobs Families Arrive in America (1881) Part II

Passenger No. 937 – Felix Kobs, age 41, workman, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 938 – Pauline Kobs, age 42, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 939 – Magdalena Kobs, age 24, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 940 – Barbara Kobs, age 24, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 941 – August (listed incorrectly as Auguste and as a female) Kobs, age 19, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 942 – Stanislaus Bonk (listed incorrectly as Bong), age 38, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 943 – Julianna Bonk (listed incorrectly as Bong), age 37, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland
Passenger No. 944 – Theresa Bonk (listed incorrectly as Bong), age 1, from Prussia, destination is Baltimore, Maryland

Felix (Feliks), Pauline (Paulina), Magdalena, Julianna, and August (Augustyn) were all children of Andrzej and Antonina Kobs nee Kowalska. Paulina was the oldest child and was born on September 22, 1837. Augustyn was the youngest child and was born on January 3, 1861. Julianna married Stanisław Bonk (Bąk or Bonkowski are seen in the Złotow Parish records) approximately in the year 1876. Stanisław and Julianna would adopt the spelling of Bonk for their surname (although Bąk is seen in various records in the U.S.). The passenger list recorded Barbara Kobs, who was actually Barbara Kowalska. She would marry Feliks in 1884.

With the arrival of this batch of Kobs family members, the children of Andrzej and Antonina Kobs would be reunited in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
