Kobs Families Arrive in America (1881) Part I

In a previous post called “Kobs Family Residences – 1880 Milwaukee“, I had listed a portion of the Kobs families that arrived in America during the 1870’s. The year of 1881 also found many changes to the Kobs families residing in Milwaukee. In June of 1881, the rest of the Kobs families, from the villages surrounding the Złotow Parish, arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There were two passenger ships that arrived in America, in June 1881. The first passenger ship was the “Hermann” arriving in Baltimore on June 12, 1881. The second passenger ship was the “Hannover” arriving in Baltimore on June 23, 1881.
The German steam ship Hermann, departed from the port of Bremen and arrived at the port of Baltimore on June 12, 1881. The captain of the steam ship was a man named Hugo Bauer. The family of John and Rosalia Włoszczynski (nee Kobs) are listed on image number 18. The text is as follows:
Passenger No. 749 – John Wloszczynski, age 31, workman, from Germany, destination is the United States
Passenger No. 750 – Rosalia Wloszczynski, age 28, wife, from Germany, destination is the United States
Passenger No. 751 – Anna Wloszczynski, age 6, from Germany, destination is the United States
Passenger No. 752 – Maximilian Wloszczynski, age 2, from Germany, destination is the United States
Passenger No. 753 – Antoine Wloszczynski, age 6 months, from Germany, destination is the United States
