Family Pictures in the Attic
Hello,
Have you ever stumbled onto a hot lead? Have you ever thought that you have found a goldmine of information, a can’t miss sure thing?
Well, that’s what I thought I had found a couple weeks ago…
I was discussing old pictures with a friend, when he asked if I had any older Aunts or Uncles that may have old pictures. Then it dawned on me, my parents go grocery shopping, every other week, for my great Aunt. I called my mother, luckily they were at my great Aunt’s house!!
My great Aunt agreed to have me over, go in the attic to find the pictures and then scan them onto my PC. My great Aunt still lives in my great-grandparents house, so I figured that all of the old pictures may have been passed down to my great Aunt. I thought I hit paydirt!!
The next day, my mother called me back and informed me that my great Aunt had called her and said that “there were NO pictures”. My great Aunt can’t walk without a walker and has no way of looking in the attic……very disappointing!
Sometimes you win…other times you have to try another angle!
