I would like to participate in Sunday’s daily blogging theme called, "Sunday’s Obituary". Below, I have transcribed the obituary of Sylvester Wierzba (my 3rd cousin 1x removed). The obituary was listed in the Milwaukee Journal on Sunday, February 8, 1953. The obituary is as follows:

Wierzba; Sylvester, residence 2005 S. 29th St., beloved husband of Constance (nee Lapacz), father of Dennis, father-in-law of Helen, grandfather of Laverne Dougherty, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Thurs., Feb 5, aged 76 years. Funeral Mon., Febr. 9, at 1:30 p.m. from the Tebo & Johnson Funeral Home, W. Lincoln av. at 33rd St. Internment Polish National. In state after 2 p.m. Sun.
