Sunday’s Obituary–Isadore A. Wierzba

I would like to participate in Sunday’s daily blogging theme called, "Sunday’s Obituary". Below, I have transcribed the obituary of Isadore A. Wierzba (my 1st cousin 2x removed). The obituary was listed in the Stevens Point Journal on Wednesday, June 25, 1997. The obituary is as follows:
Isadore A. Wierzba
Isadore A. Wierzba, 81, Rothschild, formerly of Portage County died Tuesday June 24, 1997, at Wausau Hospital Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. A.L. Slowiak will officiate and burial will be in the St. Agnes Parish Cemetery, town of Weston. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hayden Funeral Home, Schofield, and again from 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church until time of services.
He was born March 25, 1916, in Portage County, a son of the late Michael and Emily (Ostrowski) Wierzba. He was married to Delphine Wanta on April 7, 1951 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, town of Weston. She survives.
Mr. Wierzba retired in 1981 after 20 years as a custodian for the D.C. Everest School District.
Survivors besides his wife include a daughter, Sandra Darrough, Ringle; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Michael, Stevens Point, Jack, Wittenberg, and Peter (Ann), Rosholt.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
