I would like to participate in Sunday’s daily blogging theme called, “Sunday’s Obituary”. Below, I have transcribed the obituary of Agnes D. Glodowski-Klosinski nee Wierzba (my Great Aunt). The obituary is listed on the website of the Pisarski Funeral Homes. The obituary is as follows:
Agnes D. Glodowski-Klosinski: Of Stevens Point, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Waukesha. AGE: 93 Born: April 21, 1912 in the Town of Stockton. Daughter of the late Vincent & Mary (Eckendorf) Wierzba. Her marriage to Walter Glodowski took place on September 2, 1931. The couple moved to Milwuakee, later returning to the Custer area, where they farmed until the time of his death. Walter passed away on July 3, 1956. Her marriage to Chester Klosinski took place on August 21, 1961 and they lived in the Town of Sharon. Chester died on March 11, 1976. Agnes was a member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society. She enjoyed cards, crocheting, cooking, baking and spending time with family.

3 DAUGHTERS: Marie (Leonard) Adamski, Mukwonago; Rita (Fred) Mrozinski, Mukwonago; Linda (Ronald) Firkus, Stevens Point;
4 SONS: Jerry (Naomi) Glad, Custer; Myron (Rose) Glodowski, Milwaukee; Conrad (Sharon) Glodowski, East Troy; David (Lorraine) Glodowski, Custer; 16 GRANDCHILDREN: Laurie, Julie, Brian, Dale, Daniel, Tammy, Jodi, Jennifer, Kim, Michael, Michelle, Jennifer, Kari, Scott, Keith & Ryan.
23 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
Preceded in death by 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 half-sisters and 2 half-brothers.
FUNERAL MASS: 11:00 AM Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 5:00PM TO 8:00PM at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Plover, and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
