Funeral of Mr. Wierzba
Many relatives and friends were present and Sacred Heart Catholic church at Polonia Wednesday morning for the funeral of Michael Wierzba, 70, of the town of Sharon, who died last Saturday. A requiem high mass was conducted with Rev. Michael Klosowski officiating at the main alter and Re. Joseph Schulist and Rev. Leo Jankowski at the side alters. Father Jankowski also officiated at the grave in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers, nephews of Mr. Wierzba, were Frank and John Wierzba, Matt Wojak, Phillip, Onufry and Joseph Glodowski. In charge of floral offerings were Cecelia, Genevieve and Agnes Wierzba and Arlene Kiedrowicz, granddaughters.
Those from a distance who came for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Albin Wroblewski, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Berna, Phil Damask and Miss Emilly Kowalski of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wierzba, Miss Genevieve Wierzba and Paul Sabinas of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Damask and son, LeRoy, of Ashland; Mrs. Emil Keidrowicz of Langdon, North Dakota; Miss Arlene Keidrowicz of Iron River, Michigan; Private Edward Damask, who is stationed at Camp Swift, Texas; Dennis Damask of Janesville; Mr. and Mrs. Samual Adams and children of Manitowoc; Mrs. Clara Gorski and children of Cleveland, Ohio; Ambrose Damsk of White Horse, Cananda; Mrs. Julia Archer of Wausau; Mrs. Mary Yach of Rhinelander and Mrs. Edward Blicker of Wittenberg.
