The economy during the early to mid nineteenth century for this area was based on farming and cattle breeding. The village of Pławinek specialized in the breeding of Dutch and Frisian cattle. The other villages were dedicated to farming (Słownik Geograficzny Krolestwa Polskiego). In 2010, the local farms specialize in beet and cereals production (Gmina Inowrocław BIP, A Bit of History, 2010). It makes perfect sense that the Tobiasz family members were farmers, laborers, and blacksmith’s. The majority of the inhabitants of this area were Catholic. The local parish of Góra belonged to the Archdiocese of Gniezno. The villages surrounding the Góra Parish area utilized the post office and train station located in Inowrocław. (Słownik Geograficzny Krolestwa Polskiego).
In 1848, The area would be incorporated into the Inowrocław District, within the Pozńan (Posen) Province, Prussia. This area would be the eastern part of the Prussian empire, situated along the border of the Russian Empire (Wikipedia, Province of Posen, 2010).

As of this moment, I have only been able to trace my Tobiasz family to this area from 1820-1835. Once I have a better search through the Góra Parish records, I hope to establish a better understanding of their residence in this area. Will it be another stop in their travels or was this their home for many, may, years?
Best Regards,
Al
