Marriage of Mateusz Urbanski and Antonina Tobiasz (1875)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Mateusz Urbanski and Antonina Tobiasz, from the Łowiczek parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Kolonia Józefowo No 6 1875

This happened in the village of Łowiczek on the 7th/19th of September 1875, at 5 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Łukasz Rybaski, from Kolonia Łowiczek towards Swięte, and Franciszek Dombrzalski, residing in Kolonia Józefowo, aged 34, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Mateusz Urbański, single, born in village of Łówkowice, parish of Łowiczek, in that village he was born to Michał and Florentyna Urbański nee Filmoniuk, aged 23

and Antonina Tobiasz, a maiden, a resident from Kolonia Józefowo, born in the village of Gosławice, parish of Siniarzewo, daughter of the late Andrzej and the widowed Jadwiga Tobiasz nee Gołębieska, aged 16.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns at the parish church during announcements, on the 24th of August/5th of September, 31st of August/12th of September, and the 7th/19th of September. No impediments arose and the newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. The presiding pastor was Rev. Michał Zwierzchowski.

This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by us who can write, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
