Marriage of Franciszek Tobiasz and Marianna Ziemecka (1864)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Franciszek Tobiasz and Marianna Ziemecka, from the Siniarzewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Siniarzewo, No. 4, 1864

This happened in the village of Siniarzewo, on the 11th of May, 1864, at 10 a.m., in the presence of witnesses: Walenty Kujawa, aged 50, and Andrzej Stępkowski, aged 30, both are estate laborers residing in Siniarzewo, a religious marriage was contracted today between:

Franciszek Tobiasz, aged 21, single, residing with his brother in Siniarzewo, the son of Stanisław and the deceased Agnieszka Tobiasz, born in the village of Pieranie,

and Marianna Ziemecka, aged 20, single, residing with her mother in Siniarzewo, the daughter of the late Stanisław and his widow Barbara Ziemecka, born in the village of Lubanie.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, on the 24th of April, 1st, and 8th of May, 1864. No impediment to the marriage arose. The newlyweds stated that they had made no prenuptial agreement between them. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
