Death of Zofia Tobiasz (1898)

This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Zofia Tobiasz, from the Straszewo parish.

Zakrzewo No. 28 1898

This occurred in the village of Straszewo on the 25th of November/7th of December, 1898, at 3 p.m. Ignacy Matuszak, age 36, and Józef Sygit, age 48, both are residents of Zakrzewo, appeared and stated that on the 23th of November/5th of December, 1898, at 5 a.m., Zofia Tobiasz died, age 86. She was born in the village of Bądkowo, in the parish of the same name, and resided with her son in Zakrzewo. She was the widow of the deceased Ignacy Tobiasz and the daughter of parents who are unknown. Her permanent residence was within the district of Sędzin. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Zofia Tobiasz, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
