Baptism of Piotr Woźniak (1853)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Piotr Woźniak, from the Krzywosądz parish.

Smarglin, No. 6, 1853

This occurred in the village of Krzywosądz on the 30th of January, 1853, at 3 p.m. Mateusz Woźniak appeared, a farmer and resident of Smarglin, aged 30, in the presence of Mikołaj Dobrąński, aged 30, and Kazimierz Matuszak, aged 30, residents of Smarglin, and showed us a male child born in the village of Smarglin on the 30th of January, at 6 a.m., to his wife Marianna Tobiasz, aged 28. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Piotr, and the godparents were: Mikołaj Dobrąński and Julianna Tobiasz, both are Catholics. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
