This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Michał Woźniak, from the Krzywosądz parish.
Smarglin, No. 36, 1866
This occurred in the village of Krzywosądz on the 28th of August, 1866, at 10 a.m. Mateusz Woźniak appeared, a peasant and resident of Smarglin, aged 48, in the presence of Kacper Jaskulski, aged 42, and Wojciech Waszak, aged 47, peasants residing in Smarglin, and showed us a male child born in the village of Smarglin on the 14th of August, 1866, at 10 p.m., to his wife Marianna Tobiasz, aged 43. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Michał, and the godparents were: Wawrzyniec Zieliński and Marianna Roznowska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
