Baptism of Maciej Tobiasz (1848)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of my 2x great-grand uncle Maciej Tobiasz, from the Bądkowo parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Bądkowo No. 9 1848

This occurred in the village of Bądkowo on the 6th of February, 1848, at 11 a.m. Ignacy Tobiasz appeared, a farmhand, aged 25, resident of Bądkowo, in the presence of Majcher Maszewski, aged 27, and Walenty Przybysz, aged 30, both farmhands residing in Bądkowo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Bądkowo, on the 5th of February, 1846, at 4 a.m., to his lawful wife Zofia Karpik, aged 23. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Maciej. The Godparents were: Wincenty Syrocki and Zofia Więckowska, both from Bądkowo. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
