Baptism of Józefa Tobiasz (1878)

This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Józefa Tobiasz, from the Siniarzewo parish.

Siniarzewo, No. 6, 1878

This occurred in the village of Siniarzewo, on the 18th of February, 1878, at 8 a.m. Franciszek Tobiasz appeared, aged 33, a laborer and resident of the village of Siniarzewo, in the presence of: Jan Gołębiewski, aged 49, and Andrzej Stępkowski, aged 40, both are laborers residing in the village of Siniarzewo, and showed us a female child born in the village of Siniarzewo, on the 18th of February, 1878, at 12 a.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Ziemecka, aged 32. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józefa. The godparents were: Mateusz Tobiasz and Marianna Wielgosz. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
