This is my translation of the Russian language baptismal record of Jan Tobiasz, from the Straszewo parish.

Straszewo No. 30 1889

This occurred in the village of Straszewo on the 2nd/14th of July, 1889 at 1 p.m. Michał Tobiasz appeared, age 26, an attendant residing in Straszewo, in the presence of Andrzej Zajonc, age 33, and Józef Morawski, age 36, both residents of Straszewo, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in Straszewo yesterday? at 3 p.m., to his lawful wife Rozalia nee Nowak, age 26. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, by Rev. Skórczyński, this child was given the name of Jan. The Godparents were Józef Molęda and Józefa Pikencka? This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
