Baptism of Andrzej Tobiasz (1860)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of my 2x great-grand uncle Andrzej Tobiasz, from the Byczyna Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Byczyna 1860

This occurred in the village of Byczyna on the 25th of November, 1860, at 1 p.m. Ignacy Tobiasz appeared, aged 46, a farmhand and resident of the village of Adolfin, in the presence of Michał Pełka, aged 48, and Jan Waszak, aged 48, both farmhands residing in Byczyna, and presented us a male child, stating that the child was born in the village of Adolfin, on the 25th of November, 1860, at 2 a.m., to his lawful wife Zofia Karpik, aged 38. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Andrzej. The Godparents were: Andrzej Tobiasz and Tekla Gołębieska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
