I would like to summarize the records that I’ve found so far, for Andrzej Tobiasz. All the records are from the Kujawy area of Poland. The present day locations are in Gmina Zakrzewo, Gmina Dobre, and Gmina Bądkowo, all within Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. The information is derived from the listed records below.
Andrzej Tobiasz was born in the village of Adolfin (1), on November 25, 1860, to his parents Ignacy Tobiasz and Zofia Karpik. Ignacy worked on the Adolfin manor as a farmhand.
Around 1861-1863, Ignacy may have moved his family to the village of Biesiekierz (2). By 1868, the Ignacy Tobiasz family were once again residents of the village of Adolfin. Ignacy continued working as a farmhand until his death on November 28, 1868.
Andrezj would move to the village of Święte (3) sometime before June 1881, presumably to find work as a farmhand. Andrzej Tobiasz married Michalina Sobocińska on June 19, 1881, in the village of Święte.
