Sometime before April 1845, the Stanisław and Agnieszka Tobiasz family moved from the Prussian village of Dulsk (or one the surrounding villages) to the Russian village of Krotoszyn (2).
Andrzej would seek employment as a stable hand/laborer in the village of Gosławice (3), where he also lived. Some of his brothers and sisters also resided in the area. On June 5, 1856, Andrzej married Jadwiga Gołębieska, in the village of Gosławice. Ignacy Tobiasz, Andrzej’s brother, was there as a witness to the wedding.
Andrzej and his family would continue living in the village of Gosławice until and at least the year 1864. During this time, Andrzej was employed as a groom and baptized two more children. Andrzej and Jadwiga had a daughter named Antonina on March 1, 1859 and a son named Antoni on August 1, 1862.
During the years 1864-1866, Andzrej and Jadwiga had moved their family to the near by village of Siniarzewo (4). Andrzej would continue performing various jobs, such as a wagon driver and a day laborer. The couple would have two more children during this time. They had a son named Stanisław on May 6, 1864 and a daughter named Maryanna on June 5, 1866.
Sometime after the birth of Maryanna in June 1866, Andrzej moved his family to the village of Kolonia Łowiczek (5). During these years, Andrzej would change occupations and become a peasant farmer. On February 12, 1869, Andrzej and Jadwiga had a son named Józef.
The family would move again before October 1873, this time to the near by village of Kolona Jożefewo (6). On October 5, 1873, Andrzej and Jadwiga would have their final child, a daughter named Ełżbieta. On May 14, 1874, Andrzej Tobiasz died in the village of Kolonia Józefewo.
On September 7, 1875, Andrzej and Jadwiga’s oldest daughter, Antonina, married Mateusz Urbański in the village of Kolonia Józefewo. Almost 3 years later on June 26, 1878, the widowed Jadwiga Tobiasz would marry another widow named Jakub Mrozowski in the village of Łowiczek (7).
