I would like to summarize the records that I’ve found so far, for the Wawrzyniec Pluskota and Krystyna Sobieraj family. All the records are from the Kujawy area of Poland. The present day locations are in Gmina Piotrków Kujawski, Gmina Dobre, Gmina Radziejów, Gmina Osięciny, and Gmina Bytoń, all within Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. Assumptions:
- My key assumption is based on metrical records from various parishes that tie Paweł Pluskota, Wawrzyniec Pluskota, Wojciech Pluskota, Stanisław Pluskota, Józefa Pluskota, and Anna Pluskota together. They are either siblings and/or cousins from the Stodoły Parish. Their parents were either Maciej Pluskota and Teresa Ciech and/or Walenty and Ewa Pluskota.
Research Leads:
- Verify that all records from the Stodoły Parish prior to 1851 are unavailable.
- Search through the parishes surrounding the Stodoły Parish for potential Pluskota connections.
- Obtain the following death record for Agnieszka Witczak (possibly Krystyna Witczak nee Sobieraj): 1817, Death No. 22, Piotrków Kujawski Parish.
- Marianna Nowak nee Pluskota lived in Wąsewo, but I cannot find where she moved to after her marriage.
- Józefa Rożankiewicz nee Pluskota lived in Kościelna Wieś, but after marrying Franciszek Rożankiewicz I cannot find where she lived.
- Antonina Michalak nee Pluskota lived in Kościelna Wieś, but husband Balcer Michalak died within a year after their marriage, and I cannot locate her after his death.
