Marriage of Piotr Pluskota and Rozalia Wesolowska (1869)

This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Piotr Pluskota and Rozalia Wesołowska, from the Sędzin parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Sędzin Folwark No 45, 1869

This happened in the village of Sędzin on the 15th of October 1869, at 8 a.m. We declare, that in the presence of Jakub Graczyk, aged 57?, and Walenty Kot?, aged 30, both laborers residing in the Sędzin Folwark, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Piotr Pluskota, a servant living in the Sędzin Folwark, born in the village of Szóstka, son of Szczepan and Urszula Pluskota, aged 19.

and Rozalia Wesołowska, a servant residing in the Sędzin Folwark, daughter of Józef and Agnieszka Wesołowski, aged 23.


The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the parish church, on the 23rd and 30th of September, and the 7th of October (these dates may be off…the hand writing is very difficult to read), 1869. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
