Marriage of Jan Malinowski and Katarzyna Raszczak nee Pluskota (1833)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Jan Malinowski and Katarzyna Raszczak nee Pluskota, from the Bytoń parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Bytoń, 1833, No 19,

This happened in Bytoń, on the 18th of November, 1833, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Marcin Kapelak, aged 30, the village mayor, and Wawrzyniec Nowak, aged 50, a farmhand, both residing in the village of Bytoń, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Jan Malinowski, aged 25, single, Catholic, a farmhand residing in the village of Bytoń, the son of Stanisław and Marianna Malinowski, born in the village of Siedlimowo – Siedlimowo Parish, Grand Duchy of Poznań,

and Katarzyna Raszczak, aged 24, a widow, Catholic, residing in Bytoń with her mother, the daughter of Stanisław and Jadwiga Pluskota, born in the village of Bytoń, her previous husband died in March 1831.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Bytoń Parish Church, on the 27th of October, and the 3rd and 10th of November, 1833. No impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
