Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Mateusz Pluskota, from the Broniewo Parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Szóstka, 1809
On the 3rd of September, 1809, at 9 a.m., before Us, the Administrator and Civil Registrar of Broniewo, performing the duties of the Registrar of Vital Records for the District of Broniewo, Radziejów County, Bydgoszcz Department, Paweł Pluskota appeared, aged 32, a peasant farmer residing in the village of Szóstka, and presented Us a male child, which was born in his home, on the 2nd of September, 1809, at 6 a.m., to his lawful wife Rozalia nee Sobieraj, aged 23. At Holy Baptism, administered on this day, this child was given the name of Mateusz Michał. He made the above statement and showed Us the child, in the presence of witnesses: Szczepan Koza, aged 50, and Piotr Sobieraj, aged 52, both farm owners residing in the village of Szóstka. After which this Birth Record was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
