This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Michał Małkowski, from the Mąkoszyn parish.

Goczki, No. 77, 1879

This occurred in the village of Mąkoszyn, on the 26th of December, 1878/7th of January, 1879, at 11 a.m. Appearing are witnesses Stanisław Zieliński, aged 41 and Paweł Jankowski, aged 38, both are farmers residing in the village of Goczki, and stated that on the 24th of December, 1878/5th of January, 1879, at 9 a.m., Michał Małkowski, aged 71, died. He was a farmer, born in the village of Rybno – Powiat Nieszawa, the son of Maciej and Rozalia Małkowski nee Nowakowska. He leaves behind his wife Wiktoria nee Pietrasiak. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Michał Małkowski, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by us.
