Nowak – Research Plan Part 1

Hello,

I’d like to work through each of my family surnames that I’m researching and provide a research plan overview. This is one step to better organization moving forward. This should allow me to pick up where I left off easier as I jump around through various research leads. As well as providing a “bookmark” for the place where I’ve left off, when I get pulled away from genealogy.

Nowak Research Plan:

Continue to research the available parish records for the Straszewo Parish. Focusing on the years after the marriage of my 3x great grandparents, Mateusz Nowak and Marianna Pankowska, specifically after 1862. I have a number of records scans from the parish that I still need to translate from Polish and Russian. The records include Baptism, Marriage, and Death.

Research the available parish records of the Siniarzewo, Byczyna, Kobielice, Bądkowo, Krzywosądz, Sędzin, Łowiczek, and Koneck. Search the years after the baptism of Mateusz Nowak (1840) to find any records of baptism, marriage, or death for his parents (Jan Nowak and Justyna Sobczak) family.

Search through the various Population Register books for the research areas stated above that are online on Poczekalnia.
