Marriage of Franciszek Malkowski and Marcianna Nowak (1875)

This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Franciszek Małkowski and Marcianna Nowak, from the Krzywosądz parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Krzywosądz, No. 6, 1875

This happened in the village of Krzywosądz on the 6^th/18^th of October, 1875, at 12 p.m. We declare, that in the presence of witnesses Józef G?, aged 20, a laborer residing in Przysiek, and Wojciech Lęga, aged 28, a laborer residing in Bodzanowo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Franciszek Małkowski, aged 26, single, born in Bodzanowo – Byczyna Parish, a workman residing in Ułomie – Byczyna Parish, the son of Wojciech and Małgorzata Małkowski nee Bielecka – farmers residing in the village of Bodzanowo,

and Marcianna Nowak, aged 16, single, born and residing in the village of Krzywosądz, the daughter of Jan and Agnieszka Nowak nee Jędrzejczak – farmers residing in the village of Krzywosądz.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the Krzywosądz and Byczyna Parish Churches, on the 31^st of August/12^th of September, the 7^th/19^th of September, and the 14^th/26^th of September, 1875. No impediments arose to this marriage and permissions were given by the bride’s family. The newlyweds stated that no martial agreement was made between them. The ceremony was performed on this day by Rev. Rafał Puchalski. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
