Baptism of Marcianna Nowak (1859)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Marcianna Nowak, from the Krzywosądz parish.

Krzywosądz, No. 1, 1859

This occurred in the village of Krzywosądz on the 2^nd of January, 1859, at 10 a.m. Jan Nowak appeared (note: surname is misspelled as Nowakowski), aged 50, a shepherd residing in Krzywosądz, in the presence of Kazimierz Gynczelewski, aged 30, a gardener, and Andrzej Dacyk, aged 30, a laborer, both reside in Krzywosądz, and showed us a female child born in the village of Krzywosądz, on the 1^st of January, 1859, at 5 a.m., to his wife Agnieszka Jędrzejczak, aged 44. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Marcianna. The godparents were: Kazimierz Gynczelewski and Ełżbieta Krynicka. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
