Marriage of Szczepan Pluskota and Urszula Nadzieja (1833)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of 3x great-grandparents Szczepan Pluskota and Urszula Nadzieja, from the Broniewo parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Szóstka No 9, 1833
This happened in the village of Broniewo on the 19th of November 1833, at 8 a.m. We declare, that in the presence of Szymon Wosk, a laborer, aged 40, and Antoni Patyk, a farmer, aged 42, both residents of Szóstka, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Szczepan Pluskota, a young man, aged 20, a farmhand, residing in Szóstka, born in Szóstka, son of the deceased Paweł and Rozalia Pluskota. Paweł was a farmer in Szóstka,
and Urszula Nadzieja, a young woman, aged 17, residing in Szóstka with her parents, daughter of Bartłomiej and Agnieszka Nadzieja,
The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the Broniewo Parish church, on the 6th, 13th, and 20, of October, 1833. Oral consent was given by the families who were present for the wedding and no impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made by the newlyweds. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
