Baptism of Jozef Krzymianowski (1861)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józef Krzymianowski, from the Piotrków Kujawski parish.

Piotrków No. 23, 1861

This occurred in the village of Piotrków, on the 25th of February, 1861, at 1 p.m. Michał Krzymianowski appeared, aged 25, a laborer residing in Piotrków, in the presence of Klemens Otwikowski, aged 29, and Jan Hofman, aged 30, both cobblers in Piotrków, and showed us a male child born in Piotrków on the 18th of February, 1861, at 11 p.m., to his lawful wife Jadwiga nee Kicińska, aged 23. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józef. The godparents were: Józef Myczkowski and Józefa Kurkiewicz. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
