Marriage of Mateusz Czolpinski and Joanna Kicinska (1877)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Mateusz Czapiński (Czołpiński) and Joanna Kicińska, from the Byczyna parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Nagórki, No. 4, 1877,
This happened in the village of Byczyna, on the 3rd of June, 1877, at 12 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Józef Kiciński, aged 30, a peasant farmer residing in Ruszki, the brother of the bride, and Kazimierz Wasielewski, aged 28, a coachman residing in Nagórki, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Mateusz Czapiński (Czołpiński), aged 40, a widower, his previous wife, Anna Czapińska nee Wolińska, died in Nagórki on the 1st of April, 1877, the son of the deceased Michał and Antonina Czapiński (Czołpiński) nee Zdrojewska, born in the village of Pocierzyn – Kościelna Wieś Parish,
and Joanna Kicińska, aged 19, single, a day laborer residing in Nagórki, the daughter of the late Jan and his widow Wiktoria Kiciński nee Muszyńska, born in the village of Kluki.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Byczyna parish church, on the 13th, 20th, and 27th of May, 1877. Permissions were granted for marriage. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Dąbski, Pastor of the Byczyna Parish and Civil Registrar.
Best Regards,
