Baptism of Jozef Kicinski (1843)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józef Kiciński, from the Krzywosądz parish.

Krzywosądz, No. 8, 1843

This occurred in the village of Krzywosądz, on the 16th of March, 1843, at 3 p.m. Jan Kiciński appeared, aged 30, a cooper residing in Ciechocinek, in the presence of: Jan Kopczyński, aged 33, a cooper, and Franciszek Goralewski, aged 28, both residing in Krzywosądz, and showed Us a male child born in Krzywosądz, on the 9th of March, 1843, at 3 a.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Muszyńska, aged 28. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Józef. The godparents were: Jan Kyciński and Agnieszka Domagalska, farm owners in Krzywosądz. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
