Baptism of Feliks Kicinski (1840)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Feliks Kiciński, from the Sompolno parish.

Sompolno, No. 32, 1840

This occurred in the city of Sompolno, on the 16th of May, 1840, at 1 p.m. Jan Kiciński appeared, aged 35, a cooper residing in Sompolno, in the presence of: Telesfor Nurkiewicz, aged 35, a shoemaker, and Ignacy Malinowski, aged 25, a wheelwright, both residing in Sompolno, and showed Us a male child born in Sompolno, on the 5th of May, 1840, at 8 p.m., to his lawful wife Wiktoria nee Muszyńska, aged 30. At Holy Baptism, performed this day, this child was given the name Feliks Piotr. The godparents were: Telesfor Nurkiewicz and Katarzyna Malinowska, both are Catholic. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
