Death of Walenty Karpik (1880)

This is my translation of the Russian language death record of Walenty Karpik, from the Kobielice Parish.

Michałowo, No. 14, 1880

This occurred in the village of Kobielice, on the 30th of June/12th of July, 1880, at 8 a.m. Appearing are witnesses: Antoni Kędzierski, aged 60, and Mateusz Łyk, aged 60, villagers from Michałowo, and stated that on the 28th of June/10th of July, 1880, at 9 a.m., in the village of Michałowo, Walenty Karpik, aged 42, a villager residing in Michałowo, died. He was born in the village of Bądkowo, the son of Maciej and Marianna Karpik. He leaves behind his wife Katarzyna Karpik nee Modrzak. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Walenty Karpik, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
