Death of Walenty Kacprzak (1840)

This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Walenty Kacprzak, from the Ostrowąż Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Kijowiec, No. 9, 1840

This occurred in the village of Ostrowąż, on the 18th/30th of March, 1840, at 2 p.m. Appearing are witnesses: Jakób Szymański, aged 30, a laborer, residing in the village of Kijowiec; and Jan Bojrowski, aged 25, a tenant farmer, residing in the village of Kijowiec, and stated that in the village of Kijowiec, on the 18th/30th of March, 1840, at 10 a.m., Walenty Kacprzak, aged 70, died. He was a laborer residing in the village of Kijowiec. His place of birth and parents are unknown. He leaves behind his wife Franciszka. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Walenty Kacprzak, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
