Death of Marcin Kacprzak (1840)

This is my translation of the Polish language death record of Marcin Kacprzak, from the Ostrowąż Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Kijowiec, No. 16, 1840

This occurred in the village of Ostrowąż, on the 14th/26th of July, 1840, at 6 p.m. Appearing are witnesses: Tomasz Kacprzak, aged 40, a tenant farmer residing in the village of Kijowiec, the brother to the father of the deceased; and Florian Mielcerak, aged 33, a tenant farmer residing in the village of Kijowiec, and stated that in the village of Kijowiec, on the 13th/25th of July, 1840, at 6 p.m., Marcin Kacprzak, aged 13 (can’t be correct), died. He was the child of Stanisław and Marianna Kacprzak, who are tenant farmers residing in the village of Kijowiec. He was born in the town of Skulsk. After eyewitness testimony on the death of Marcin Kacprzak, this document was read to those present, who were illiterate, and signed by Us.
