Baptism of Jozef Kacprzak (1836)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Józef Kacprzak, from the Ostrowąż parish.

Biela, No. 1, 1836

This occurred in the village of Ostrowąż, on the 29th of December, 1835/10th of January, 1836, at 8 a.m. Stanisław Kacprzak appeared, a laborer residing in Biela, aged 23, in the presence of Tomasz Kacprzak and Szymon Cyliński, a farmhand, aged 50, both residents of Biela, and showed us a male child born in Biela, on the 22nd of December, 1835/3rd of January, 1836, at 3 a.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Pawlak, aged 28. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Józef. The godparents were: Tomasz Kacprzak and Marianna Osińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
