Baptism of Michal Kacprzak (1844)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Michał Kacprzak, from the Ostrowąż parish.

Kijowiec, No. 35, 1844

This occurred in the village of Ostrowąż, on the 13th/25th of September, 1844, at 2 p.m. Stanisław Kacprzak appeared, aged 33, a steward residing in the village of Kijowiec, in the presence of Paweł Badzyński, aged 30, a farmhand, and Roch Kacprzak, aged 40, a shepherd, both residing in the village of Kijowiec, and showed Us a male child born in the village of Kijowiec, on the 13th/25th of September, 1844, at 10 a.m., to his lawful wife Marianna nee Pawlaczyk (alias Pawlak), aged 45. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Michał. The godparents were: Paweł Badzyński and Marianna Dziemińska. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by Us alone.
