Baptism of Marianna Kacprzak (1837)

This is my translation of the Polish language baptismal record of Marianna Kacprzak, from the Ostrowąż parish.

Kijowiec, No. 51, 1837

This occurred in the village of Ostrowąż, on the 21st of November/3rd of December, 1837, at 1 p.m. Stanisław Kacprzak appeared, aged 23, a laborer residing in Kijowiec, in the presence of Roch Januszewski, aged 30, a shepherd residing in Kijowiec, and Józef Woźniak, aged 28, a farmhand residing in Kijowiec, and showed us a female child born in Kijowiec, on the 18th/30th of November, 1837, at 5 p.m., to his lawful wife Franciszka (should be: Marianna) nee Pawlak, aged 30. At Holy Baptism performed this day, this child was given the name Marianna. The godparents were: Roch Januszewski and Antonina Kujawa. This document was read to the declarant and witnesses, who are illiterate, and was signed by us alone.
