This is my translation of the Latin language baptismal record of Jan Grochowski, from the Sypniewo Parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Iłowo, 1845, No. 11

On February 9th, 1845, I, Rev. Józef Kręcki, Pastor of the Sypniewo Parish, baptized the infant named Jan, who was born on the 8th of February, 1845, at 3 a.m. The parents were: Paweł and Magdalena Grochowski nee Straszyńska, the legally married couple, both are Catholics and villagers. The Godparents were: Tomasz Szulka and Anna Mamach, both from Iłowo.
