Marriage of Walenty Lawniczak and Katarzyna Buss nee Gorzycka (1853)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Walenty Ławniczak and Katarzyna Buss nee Gorzycka, from the Radziejów parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Kolonia Opatowice, No. 24, 1853,

This happened in the town of Radziejów, on the 30th of October, 1853, at 2 p.m. We declare in the presence of: Wojciech Mikołajczak, aged 60, and Ignacy Małkowski, aged 45, both are farm owners residing in Kolonia Opatowice, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Walenty Ławniczak, aged 23, single, a farm owner residing in the village of Osipowo – Bytoń Parish, the son of Sebastian and Magdalena Ławniczak nee Tomaszewska – farm owners residing in Osipowo, born in the village of Lubstówek,

and Katarzyna Buss nee Gorzycka, aged 22, a widow – her previous husband Augustyn Buss died on the 30th of November, 1852, in Szpital – Powiat Włocławek, he was a laborer – she is a laborer residing in the Kolonia Opatowice, the daughter of Antoni, a laborer, and the deceased Małgorzata Gorzycki nee Pilachowska.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Radziejów and Bytoń Parish Churches, on the 9th, 16th, and 23rd of October, 1853. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
