Marriage of Tomasz Cieply and Marianna Gorzycka (1896)

This is my translation of the Russian language marriage record of Tomasz Ciepły and Marianna Gorzycka, from the Radziejów parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Radziejów, No 12, 1896

This happened in the town of Radziejów, on the 28th of April/10th of May, 1896, at 6 p.m. We declare, that in the presence of witnesses: Dionizy Przybyłowski, aged 54, and Piotr Gorzycki, aged 50, both day-laborers in Radziejów, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Tomasz Ciepły, single, aged 26, born and residing in Radziejów, a shoemaker, the son of the late Leopold and his widow Kunegunda Ciepły nee Dębińska,

and Marianna Gorzycka, single, aged 21, a day laborer, born in Bieganowo, residing in Radziejów with her mother, the daughter of the late Filip and his widow Marianna Gorzycki nee Kocińska.

The wedding was preceded by three readings of the banns, at the Radziejów Parish Church, on the 14th/26th of April, the 21st of April/3rd of May, and the 28th of April/10th of May, 1896, at 11 a.m. The newlyweds stated that no prenuptial agreement was made between them and no impediments arose. This document was read aloud to the declarants and witnesses and signed by Us, because those appearing and the witnesses mentioned in this document cannot write.
