Marriage of Jozef Kucek and Katarzyna Nowakowska nee Gorzycka (1864)

This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Józef Kucek and Katarzyna Mowakowska nee Gorzycka, from the Bytoń parish. Any errors are completely my own.

Osipowo, No. 16, 1864

This happened in Bytoń, on the 23rd of October, 1864, at 9 a.m. We declare in the presence of: Marcin Bukowski, aged 34, and Antoni Królikowski, aged 40, both are farm owners residing in the village of Osipowo, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:

Józef Kucek, aged 22, single, a laborer residing in the village of Osipowo, the son of Bernard and Ełżbieta Kucek nee Kolat, born in the village of Bądkowo,

and Katarzyna Nowakowska nee Gorzycka, aged 30, a widow – her previous husband Józef Nowakowski died in the village of Płowki – Broniewo Parish, she resides in the village of Osipowo.

Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Bytoń Parish Church, on the 11th, 18th, and 25th of September, 1864. No impediments arose. No prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
