Marriage of Filip Gorzycki and Marianna Kocinska (1858)
Hello,
This is my translation of the Polish language marriage record of Filip Gorzycki and Marianna Kocińska, from the Radziejów parish. Any errors are completely my own.
Stary Radziejów Kolonia, No. 9, 1858
This happened in the town of Radziejów, on the 22nd of June, 1858, at 10 a.m. We declare in the presence of Antoni Grochowina, aged 60, a peasant colonist, residing in Stary Radziejów Kolonia, and Kazimierz Jedwabny, aged 40, a miller, residing in the village of Opatowice, that on this day a religious marital union was contracted between:
Filip Gorzycki, a widower, aged 35, a peasant colonist, a resident of Stary Radziejów Kolonia, the son of Antoni (who is a peasant colonist in the village of Płowki) and the late Małgorzata Gorzycki nee Pilachowska, born in the village of Płowki, his previous wife Marianna Gorzycka nee Grzelak died in Stary Radziejów Kolonia on the 9th of January, 1858,
and Marianna Kocińska, single, aged 16, a peasant, residing with her family in Stary Radziejów Kolonia, she was born in Stary Radziejów, the daughter of Walenty and Ełzbieta Kociński nee Lasecka, who are peasant colonists.
Three announcements preceded this marriage. The banns were read, at the Radziejów parish church, on the 6th, 13th, and 20th of June, 1858. Permissions were given by the families. No impediment occurred and no prenuptial agreement was made between the newlyweds. This document, after being read aloud to the witnesses and the newlyweds, was signed by the presiding pastor.
Rev. Jan Grądzki, Pastor of the Radziejów Parish and Civil Registrar.
Best Regards,
